ALEA NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2012 - REGISTRATIONS

ALEA's new website incorporates a member log in function so that when you come to register for the conference online, the system will recognise you and complete part of the details for you. For this to happen, you will need to log in to the website before you commence your conference registration.

Pre-Conference Institutes: Friday, 6 July 2012, 2.00 pm - 5.00 pm.
Optional Pre-Conference Institutes are available on the opening day of conference
Cost is additional to conference registration:
ALEA Individual Members $55, ALEA Institutional Members $60, Non-members $75.00.
Sessions are limited to 20 participants so secure your place early.

The conference registration fee includes:

- Access to plenary sessions and your choice of keynote and concurrent sessions on the day(s) registered
- Conference satchel and summary print program and e-program
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on the day(s) registered

- Closing session Monday, 9 July 2012
- Access to the exhibition and book launches as part of the conference program.

CONFERENCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By completing the online registration form, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Conference Fees and Payments
All prices are stated in Australian Dollars [$AUD] and are inclusive of GST. Payments will only be accepted in Australian Dollars.
GST Tax Invoices will be issued via email once registration is complete. The Tax Invoice will be issued by Australian Literacy Educators' Association ABN 16 007 410 004.

Registration Categories
Members are current ALEA members.
Student means full-time post-graduate student of a higher education institution [in Australia or Overseas]. Proof of enrolment must be faxed to 61 8 8333 0394 or emailed to events@alea.edu.au.
Members of the International Reading Association, the New Zealand Reading Association, the New Zealand English Teachers Association and the Australian Association for the Teaching of English may register at the ALEA Member Rate.

Cancellations and Withdrawals
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to events@alea.edu.au prior to 30 March 2012 and will incur an administrative fee pf $100.
No refunds will be accepted after 30 March 2012 but substitute delegates are welcome.
No refunds will be made for non-attendance but substitute delegates are welcome.

Disclaimer of Liability
ALEA reserves the right to amend any part of the conference program or event should it be necessary. ALEA will not accept any liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants for loss of damage to their personal property as a result of the Conference or related event. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, ALEA will not accept responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates.

Privacy
ALEA has a privacy policy that endorses the National Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
