Voiceworks is a national, quarterly magazine featuring exciting new writing by young Australian writers. It presents a unique opportunity for writers and artists under 25 to publish their poetry, short stories, articles and comics, illustrations, drawings and photos. It is produced entirely by young people. Every submission, published or not, receives personalised feedback from a dedicated volunteer team of editors (also aged under 25) based at Express Media. Express Media is a not-for-profit organisation providing support and development opportunities for young people in writing and media. All writers published in the magazine are paid for their contribution.

We will ensure that sponsors, trade exhibitors, and delegates have many opportunities to meet and exchange ideas and information. Package:

  • Acknowledgement as a major partner every day on the main screen prior to the plenary.
  • The sponsor may provide one two-page A4 satchel insert at no extra charge.
  • One page black and white advertisement in the conference program (text and logo provided by sponsor). The print program will provide a synopsis of the conference details. In addition every participant will have access to an iPad or iTouch for the duration of the conference. It will contain a detailed electronic program (e-program) containing information about the sessions and speakers. A full colour advertisement will appear in the iPad or iTouch program with a hyperlink to sponsor website. If you have a company related application we will load it onto the iPad or iTouch (it must be free).

  • The ALEA conference website will display your company logo with a link to your website.
  • Provision of a regular sized booth displaying your company name.

Conference Bags - $3000 - SOLD

These will be over printed with your logo, name and conference details. A quality silk bag has been chosen to ensure continuing exposure of your company long after the 2012 Conference.


Name Badges - $600 - SOLD

A printed name badge displaying the conference logo, delegate name and state with a designated space for your company name and logo.
The sponsor is invited to provide a printed lanyard with company details.


Keynote Speakers - $500

Keynote speakers are the highlight of any conference. We have arranged many pre-eminent and high profile international and Australian speakers who will attract significant attention. We invite you to sponsor their presentation, at which time lectern signage will be available.

Company banners (supplied by sponsor) may also be displayed at the presentation. The sponsor will be invited on stage to share the introduction of the speaker.

Book Launches - $500

Publishers are invited to launch a book at one of the morning or afternoon tea breaks during the Conference. You will be welcome to provide signage and promotional literature and you will be offered a brief time to speak to delegates.

Advertising in the Conference Program

Half page advertising space - $250
Full page advertising space - $350

The Conference Program will contain a schedule and session highlights and given to all delegates attending the conference. This is an e-program and hyperlinks to sponsor websites can be embedded. In addition conference attendees will be given an iPad or iPod Touch to access the program for the duration of the conference. Advertisers can request an application (must be a free download) to be uploaded to the device.

Satchel Inserts - $250

All trade exhibitors and sponsors have the opportunity to supply one satchel insert. If you are not providing sponsorship and would like to advertise your product or services, satchel inserts can be arranged. A basic insert is one two sided A4 brochure.

We welcome other sponsorship initiatives including provision of pens, note pads and delegate gifts. Costs and appropriate recognition may be negotiated with the Conference Sponsorship Convenors or the Conference Organiser.
