MyRead

MyRead is a project of ALEA and the Australian Association for the Teaching of English, funded by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training. It was named the winner of the Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing in 2003 by the Australian Publishing Association.

MyRead is based on the beliefs that:

• All students can be successful readers
• All teachers are teachers of reading
• Teachers make a difference
• Monitoring and assessment inform teaching and learning
• Teachers need a repertoire of flexible practices
