ALEA Projects

ALEA is committed to the ongoing development of literacy and English language learning at all levels of education. The Association encourages the promotion of literacy through a range of activities and pro-actively contributes to building effective literacy communities. One of the ways ALEA does this is to work with bodies such as the Australian Government, UNESCO, the International Reading Association and other like-minded professional associations such as the Australian Association for the Teaching of English in the development, implementation and ongoing promotion of projects and literacy activities. Significant projects that ALEA has either helped to establish or commits to on an annual basis, include:
