Ashley McPherson is a passionate educator with experience as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, Principal Education Officer (providing professional learning for teachers and school leaders), Assistant Principal and now a Principal of a primary school in Southern Tasmania. Ashley is deeply committed to improving literacy outcomes for students, supporting families to develop their skills and understanding for how best to support their child; as well as advocating for positive educational outcomes throughout the wider community.
Ashley has a long commitment to ALEA both as a participant to National Conferences and as a presenter. He has also been a dedicated member of the ALEA TAS SOUTH Committee for many years, supporting the committee to secure and facilitate professional learning for our members and assisting with the last National Conference in Hobart.
