ALEA National Council
The National Council of the Australian Literacy Educators’ Association is elected by ALEA members and has overall responsibility for the activities of the organisation. The National Council consists of 8 State Directors who represent each of the states and territories, as well as the President and Vice President. In addition to the elected positions, there is also a Publications Director, Conference Liaison Director and National Secretary/Business Manager who are appointed by National Council.
