Notice is given that an Annual General Meeting of the Mackay and the Whitsunday Members Local Council of the Australian Literacy Educators' Association will be held on Monday 9th June, 2025 from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. AEST via Zoom.
All members and other interested educators wishing to participate to are cordially invited to register their intention to attend.
A Zoom link will be provided prior to the meeting to registered attendees.
Those who are unable to attend please return attached Proxy Form (WORD version) or to the meeting.

As an active member of ALEA Mackay and the Whitsundays, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people and contribute your voice about future ALEA Literacy events. Another bonus is that you’ll gain free access to most workshops.
Those wishing to join the general Committee or nominate for a role as an Office Bearer should return to the current ALEA Mackay President Yvette Iturbe, a completed Nomination Form (Word version) prior to the meeting, not later than Thursday 5th June, 2025. Nomination Form (PDF document)
