ALEA Grants and Awards

ALEA actively promotes literacy development and learning within the school context through a research program and a mentoring program:

The ALEA Research Grant
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mentoring Program.

ALEA recognises service to the Association and to excellence in literacy education by conferring a number of prestigious State and National Awards.

ALEA members can apply to become an ALEA Fellow which will identify them as an educator who upholds the values and beliefs of the association as outlined in the ALEA Declaration. ALEA Fellowship Awards will provide members with recognition of their involvement and commitment to literacy education through the ALEA professional association and within their application of the ALEA Declaration in their work place.
